2019/04 - B-Cinq wins local OSEntreprendre Challenge

On April 3rd, the local OSEntreprendre Challenge awards were presented for the territory of the Marguerite-D'Youville MRC. The work of B-Cinq Technologies has been awarded, winner in the Technological and Technical Innovations category.

2018/05 - B-Cinq selected by Lavery's  startups program. 

B-Cinq is pleased to have been selected to be in the GO Inc. startups program from Lavery, de Billy, the largest independent law firm in Quebec. This giving us access to their large network, their legal expertise and their passion for the propulsion of innovative companies.

2018/03 - Jury's "Coup de Coeur" Award at the Génies en affaires ACFAS 2018 Business Engineering Competition

B-Cinq won a prize for its project to optimize light-duty vehicles, such as snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles with an electronically controlled Continuously Variable Transmission. B-Cinq wants to thank his partner Aligo Innovation for advising the team on business development  to build his application.

This competition provides participants with a unique opportunity to enhance their business development and communication skills with the support of experts in these fields, while giving them the opportunity to share technology innovations with the general public.

Organized by the Association francophone pour le savoir (Acfas), the Génies en affaires gala was held on March 27 at the head office of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec.

2017/06 - Baja ÉTS and EVT technology triumphs again at Baja SAE Illinois

The Baja ÉTS team was again in international competition for the third time in a month and a half. The team arrived  to Baja Illinois event with confident, welded and well prepared, then created the surprise by winning the 1st place in the overall standings in front of no less than 108 teams!

The 2017 edition of the Baja ÉTS club ends the year with two first places in three competitions. This is the best season in club history, other than 2005. At the time, the team had three top spots in three races. Note, however, that the current level of competition is higher than never. The secret of this year's performance lies in the integration of a promising innovation developed by students of the club: a control device electronics coupled with a continuously variable transmission. The patent-pending technology has been integrated from the beginning of the season and used in all three competitions. The captain of the club, Raphaël Leblanc explains: "We had confidence in our technology before even using it in competition, but we are extremely proud and satisfied that it has performed during our three competitions, and without major failure. We managed to compete with vehicles equipped with a variable transmission continuous mechanical proven for several years. This proves that our bet was good, that our design is of high quality and that our technology is doomed to a bright future".

2017/04 - Baja ÉTS Team Victory at Baja SAE California with new EVT technology

Not less than 92 university teams from all over the world compete to develop and design an all-terrain vehicle capable of performing on several types of rough terrain.

The Baja ÉTS club has risen to the top of the podium, largely due to the new EVT transmission that now equips the Montreal-designed vehicle entirely designed by ÉTS students. This technology developed by the Montreal team is also pending patent.

In addition to its first place in the general classification, the Baja ÉTS club stood out by ranking first for the cost ratio and third for the endurance race and the design presentation.
